Accounting Associate

Total Scope, the leader in medical device repair and services, is hiring an outstanding, full time accounting associate.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end process
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

 

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Prefer a working knowledge of Great Plains
  • Prefer auditing experience
  • Prepare asset and liability entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable payments
  • Assist in performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and confirming policies and procedures
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting operations
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Participate in financial standard setting and forecast process

 

Compensation: $50k-$60k yearly, benefits offered
