How is Total Scope, Inc. Operating?
We have continued to follow all guidelines of the global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers of Disease Control (CDC). All TSI employees have been given gator masks to wear at all times as we remain to distance ourselves at least 6ft apart. We are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities, lab benches and equipment. We also increased our office cleaning to twice a day as opposed to once at night.
Our Lab Technicians and Operations team are now all present in both our Philadelphia and Nashville facilities, working hard to repair your medical devices in a timely manner to keep your department running at full capacity. All non-essential personnel have remained working remotely to ensure social distancing guidelines are being met and to keep the working environment and our staff as healthy and safe as possible.
Keeping It Positive
Although COVID-19 is limiting our social interaction, we are still making it possible to keep our summer BBQ tradition alive because it’s always nice to have something to look forward to, especially during these hard times! Before this pandemic, Total Scope’s summer tradition consisted of having a pot luck BBQ every other Friday; however, we had to make some changes this year. To minimize any possible infectious bacteria from entering our facility we are no longer doing a pot luck, but rather everyone chips in and we buy everything at once. Also, instead of gathering in the conference room to eat together, we have set our tables up in two conference rooms and our kitchen so that we are sitting 6ft apart to ensure we are following the social distancing guidelines, while still enjoying the food and the time ‘together.’
We are all experiencing hardships due to COVID-19, but there are positives that come from this situation as well. As previously mentioned, part of our team is working remotely, but fortunately we’ve gained a higher aspect of teamwork. Working remotely has made us work harder as a team to keep up good communication between departments so we can work as efficiently as possible. Making sure our customers are informed and satisfied with our service is our number one priority.
It is important to understand that the COVID-19 situation evolves and changes every day. Everyone should closely monitor the CDC and WHO websites for the latest and most accurate information on COVID-19. We hope you are all staying safe!
