Total Scope Celebrates 30 Years in Business

Total Scope has come a long way since we started in 1992, and we are excited that we hit the 30-year mark! Total Scope was founded to provide quick turnaround times for endoscope and surgical camera repairs while maintaining a strong commitment to quality. We can proudly say we have continued to uphold our original values that began when our woman-owned company first began.

Over the years, we have continued to ensure we have the latest technology in our 26,000-square-foot custom-built facility. In 2018, we also had the opportunity to expand our business into Tennessee. Our Total Scope South facility is 15,000 square feet and is located right in the heart of Nashville.

Expansion & Changes

In recent years, Total Scope established two subsidiary companies – Endocart^® & On-Site Surgical Care.

Despite Total Scope offering quick repairs and an efficient delivery system, sometimes you can’t beat the convenience of on-site repairs. This is where the mobile repair service came in back in 2017.

The focus on endoscopy carts began because many Total Scope repair customers that worked in hospital departments were interested in purchasing the carts. So in 2018, Total Scope set out to satisfy this additional need of their customers and started selling custom, quality endoscopy carts.

With our firm commitments to quality, service, and repair capability, Total Scope is, and has been, dedicated to supporting the client’s goals of patient safety and satisfaction.

I have been with Total Scope for 27 years and have witnessed firsthand the growth that we have experienced over the past 30 years.  Our repair program’s success has been 100% dependent on the people that sell and market our services, the people that repair the equipment and the people that provide customer support.

The culture that we have established over the years is very simple — treat every repaired product as though it is going to be used on a family member.  Every person on our team takes repairs personally.  I am extremely proud of what we do every day and how we have changed the industry by offering high-quality repairs and high-quality service at very competitive prices.  This has helped our customer base control their costs in a very volatile market without sacrificing any quality or service.

Total Scope is an ISO 13485-certified company and was the first company in the industry to obtain an ISO certification.
